Answer by Et Tu Brute
The sound card is not changeable on a laptop.
Some laptops have an above board video card that can be transformed inside of the specs of what was accessible for that laptop. Most, nevertheless, do not have a video card that can be changed out.

Yeah the graphics card is not interchangeable on the laptop…If you only want to downgrade to XP all you require is to download the drivers from the Toshiba help page after you set up windows XP. If you aren’t certain how to set up Windows XP go to a repair shop or have an individual that understands how do it for you.

If you are ready to acquire a “sound cart” and a “geraphic cart” for your “labtab” to make it excellent, just forget that notion –> Take the cash and go acquire yourself a actual “dusktab” [desktop] as an alternative.
Here’s why:
These days, with that kind of money , you can get a desktop that [even with the standard integrated sounds and graphics] will kick your “labtab”‘s qss and will leave you lots of room for future elements/overall performance upgrades.
When you get a laptop, you’re rather a lot stuck with what you have.–> The only options may be: adding memory, changing the Difficult Drive for a SSD drive or utilizing EXTERNAL graphic or sound cards…but then once again what is the point of staying a ‘portable’ [and crappy] method in performing that’???
Fairly expensive (and stupid) move for not significantly of an improvement if you ask me.
Laptops, macbooks, netbbooks, islates (or what ever it is referred to as) all stink anyway go for the true thing: a great old desktop.
